Holiday Series: Favourite Gift Given

Carrying on with our Holiday Series, this week we’re featuring a roundup of our favourite holiday gifts ever given. Although it was tough to narrow down, here’s what the Wolfgang Commercial Painters Wolfpack gave and felt good about.

Dave: I like to give “experiences” especially to my kids. It’s a great way to create lasting memories.

A meaningful book, or impactful experience. I appreciate giving (and receiving) something that is going to have a positive lifestyle impact.

Brent: My wife doesn’t like to splurge on herself and she desperately needed a new purse. After an unsuccessful attempt to pick one out for her we went shopping together and found the perfect purse. She would never have bought it for herself which made it the perfect gift.

Shira: Growing up, celebrating Chanukah in our home didn’t have a focus around gifts, so I can’t recall a favourite one given or received. For me it was the festivity of celebrating the holiday of light, being together with family and friends, while singing and listening to Chanukah songs.

Kayren: I would have to say one of my favourite gifts I’ve given was to my cousin for her wedding. I put together a basket with a few bottles of her favourite wine and champagne for every “first” as a married couple (ie. first valentines day, first year anniversary, etc.) with a hand written note for each milestone.

Deana: It’s tough to say, but I’d have to say a trip to New York for my significant other and I and a table saw for my stepdad who is always helping me with handy work around my home.

Next week we’re sharing our favourite holiday gifts received. Miss out on last year’s posts? Check out our favourite movies, holiday dishes, traditions, top five tips for planning an office social and top three tips for kicking off the New Year.
