For The Love of Learning

It’s been a smooth start to the fall here at Wolfgang. We completed numerous exterior projects in the short lived summer months and we’re just now transitioning into interior painting season with the rainy forecast we’re facing. After a chock full few months, now is the time that we’re planning our office holiday party, community contribution and setting lunches with our customers. As I wrote about about a few weeks back, the turn in seasons has me reconsidering my goals and working diligently to wrap the year up on a strong note. This week I’m sharing three projects that I have taken on to close the year out and develop me personally and professionally.

Crunching Numbers
Our fiscal ends on November 30. With only six weeks left in the year, I’m thoroughly analyzing each budget line item to assess whether we’re over, under or on par. I’ve also created a perspective 2018 budget and made calendar reminders for necessary purchases coming up soon (new painter tee shirts are a must in December!)

Ruthlessly Prioritizing
Having committed to a number of projects for the year I’m currently verifying that each has been completed and that any that may have fallen through the cracks are accounted for. What’s more is that I’m also making a list of key projects for 2018 with December 1 on its way.

Structuring Time Off
After one of the busiest, best summers, I’m so happy to have autumn here. I recently enrolled in Precision Nutrition’s Nutrition Certification course, so my weekends require more structure. I’m setting time to meet with my life coach, finish reading Difficult Conversations, study up on health and setting a few personal goals (gallery wall, I’m looking at you!)

As the rain welcomes interior painting season it also welcomes a fresh new year and goals to get on. Best of luck with your fall projects!
