A Day in The Life: Sales & Project Manager Brent

Our final installment of our Day in The Life series features Sales & Project Manager, Brent Anderson. Read on to learn about how busy Brent spends his workdays.

Brent avoids burnout by maxing out at five estimates weekly, with a goal of having them completed by Wednesday. Wolfgang’s estimating system in highly involved, so getting through estimates early in the week, and limiting them, allows Brent to stay fresh for his client interactions. Brent also makes a point to schedule two client lunches weekly to maintain current on their needs. Brent’s days are widely different and sometimes have him in five different Metro Vancouver cities in a given day to meet with clients and manage projects. Although sometimes it’s imperative, Brent avoids sole focus days enjoying varied activities versus all day estimate or administrative blocks. As for production, Brent ensures that he checks in with all current painter crews to ensure that their jobs are running smoothly. During the check in Brent discovers current progress and uncovers any change orders required or strata concerns. He then can inform his property manager clients of the job’s status during his weekly update email block.
